ACFEI Articles The American College of Forensic Examiners Institute Promotes a Refer-A-Colleague Program to Introduce More Forensic Professionals to the Benefits of Membership Dr. Robert O’Block, founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), is encouraging all ACFEI members to take part in the association’s exciting Refer-a-Colleague program. Dr. O’Block established this program to encourage ACFEI members to refer colleagues and fellow professionals from the forensic examination fields to the association. According to O’Block, “By growing and increasing our number of ACFEI members, we will be better able to improve our association to provide the tools and information our members need to be successful forensic professionals in the 21 st Century.” Through the Refer-A-Colleague program, O’Block and the ACFEI staff are calling upon ACFEI members to refer five colleagues or professionals working in a forensic capacity who may be interested in membership with ACFEI. These individuals will be mailed a complimentary copy of The Forensic Examiner®, the official peer-reviewed journal of ACFEI, as well as a free informational packet about the association. “To continue to be the leading forensic membership association in the nation,” O’Block said, “we must continuously strive to build and improve our association, find new and better ways to serve our members, and grow stronger each year.” It is this goal that has driven the Refer-A-Colleague program. Many ACFEI members, highly respected professionals and leaders in their respective areas of forensic practice and specialty, have introduced their colleagues to the advantages of membership in ACFEI.
