Jessica M. Cummins, CHS-V
Networking Lunch Keynote Speaker, September 3rd

Jessica currently serves as SAIC‘s Deputy Project Manager of Training, at the Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, Alabama.  She was hired in July, ’07.  The CDP is the nation's premier all hazards training center. The (CDP) is the only federally chartered Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training center for civilian responders from ten response disciplines, federal personnel, and private sector employees responsible for critical infrastructure in the United States.

Dr. Roy Swift, ANSI
General Session Speaker, September 4th

Dr. Swift is currently the program director of the personnel certification accreditation program at ANSI.  Prior to his current position, he was a consultant to educational, certification, licensure and health care organizations.  From 1993-1998 he was executive director of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).  This appointment followed a 28-year career in the United States Army Medical Department.  In his last position, he was Chief of the Army Medical Specialist Corps in the Army Surgeon General’s Office with policy responsibility for Army occupational therapists, physical therapists, dietitians and physician assistants throughout the world.

Dr. Gary Klein, CHS-V
Awards Banquet Keynote Speaker, September 4th

Dr. Klein currently serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer in the United States Department of Homeland Security, Division of Immigration Health. In this role, Dr. Klein is evaluating the organization, its operational effectiveness, clinical training of physicians across the United States, and responding to the division’s need for an electronic medical record. Dr. Klein is a Board Certified Urgent Care Physician with over 15 years of experience in Emergency/Urgent Care, within both inpatient and outpatient environments. Dr. Klein serves as Chairman of the Board for the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM), as well as a member of the Editorial Board for its journal, Urgent Care. Dr. Klein is also President-elect of the American Academy of Disaster Medicine (AADM), the nation’s first board certification in this area. Dr. Klein is an invited speaker for local & national organizations.
