By being a member in good standing and successfully completing one of ACFEI’s certifications, you have earned the opportunity to elevate your status to becoming a Diplomate and a Fellow of ACFEI.
What is the Diplomate designation?
The Diplomate designation is a prestigious recognition within the Association. Members who reach this level have made professional achievements and contributions to the field of forensics and demonstrated hard work and dedication to the ACFEI. It recognizes achievement and excellence and establishes the Diplomate as a distinguished top professional.
Along with receiving a Prestigious Designation within the ACFEI, as a Diplomate, you will also receive:

» Receive a Personalized Press Release to announce your Professional Distinction as a Diplomate of ACFEI, DACFEI
» Become Eligible to sit and participate on a Specialized Board with the ACFEI
» Two free listings in the "Find a Specialist" referral service on our website, which allows prospective clients to search for a forensic professional by specialty and location, $75 savings
» Acknowledgement from colleagues and peers through use of the distinguished designation of Diplomate
» A certificate recognizing your status and affiliation with ACFEI as a Diplomate
» Earn your way to Fellow upgrade once you are a Diplomate for 3 years
What are the requirements for Diplomate status?
» Be a member in good standing with ACFEI for at least two (2) years.
» Successfully complete one of ACFEI's certifications.
» Have no felony convictions or ethical violations in the last ten (10) years,as well as not be under investigation by any legal, accounting, or licensing board.
» Agree to adhere to ACFEI's Principles of Professional Practice.
» Have appropriate educational degrees from accredited universities and have five (5) years of relative experience in a forensic-related field.
» Pay the one-time processing fee of $250.

You may download the application and mail or fax it back to ACFEI. Application processing time is typically 3-4 weeks.
What is the Fellow designation?
The Fellow designation is the highest honor ACFEI can bestow upon a member. This designation is reserved for members with outstanding achievements and excellence as well as participating actively in ACFEI programs.
Requirements for Fellow status?
