The Forensic Examiner is the official peer-reviewed journal of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. The role of the journal is the continued advancement of forensic examination and consultation across the many professional fields of our membership. The Forensic Examiner reaches physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, accountants, law enforcement and security professionals, engineers, nurses, dentists, toxicologists, investigators, recorded evidence professionals, counselors, social workers, crisis interveners, Homeland Security professionals, and all other specialties associated with the forensic field. The Forensic Examiner includes scientific articles, case studies, and new research in the areas of forensic information in addition to interviews with forensic professionals. ACFEI members may earn continuing education (CE) credits by completing tests based on articles in The Forensic Examiner. Forensic specialists and members may contribute to the journal by submitting their articles for approval and consideration of continuing education.
